Why “douchebag” is an awesome insult:
When you call someone a douchebag, what you’re literally saying to them is,
“You think you’re so great, but your existence is actually totally unnecessary and your main function is probably toxic. Also you shouldn’t be allowed near anyone’s genitalia.”

What does revolution look like?
I’m friends with a lot of radical folks, who are actively working towards revolution. I like to include myself, but I often feel too pessimistic for revolution. I believe that the idea is really based in the notion that people are inherently good, and I simply don’t believe that. I’m all for a radical change in society, but what does that really look like? Is it dependent on our society becoming a utopia of sorts? I’m really curious about what you all think.
Whenever a conscious Black woman raises her voice on issues central to her existence, somebody is going to call her strident, because they don’t want to hear about it, nor us. I refuse to be silenced and I refuse to be trivialized, even if I do not say what I have to say perfectly.
